Dear Mini,
First off let us just say how proud of you we are and how much we think you are growing up to be a wonderful big boy. You make us laugh constantly and are truly a joy. We love you sooo much!
Right now you are into Bakaguans, Playmobile, Toy Story (still), firefighters (still), the Smurfs and the Littles, and playing pretend. You have an amazing imagination and love to make up stories. And you love to tell us the Three Billy Goats Gruff and Three Little Pigs and you do them with voices and all, awesome! You like playing games on Daddy's iPad and Mommy's touch so you can get "smarter" to go to "college." You love love love to dance and your favorite song is "Who Let the Dogs Out?" which you sing at the top of your lungs to while jumping and dancing around the kitchen. You learned how to write your name this year and you love all things math (take after no strangers).
You are currently loving all the sports you play (soccer, t-ball, skating) but you want to be a hockey player when you are "as big as a house." And at 41.5 inches tall and 50 lbs you are well on your way. And you are just thrilled to get to do "boy" stuff with Daddy like fishing and going to Central Diner. But you still like to snuggle with Mommy when you first wake up from your nap.
You love to try to give us the "evil eyeball" and you cross your arms and try to look mad but you can't keep a straight face and always end up cracking yourself up which of course makes us laugh too. One day a couple of weeks ago when Daddy gave you his look you said "Dad you're not doing it right, you have to cross your arms" and Mommy had to leave the room because she was laughing so hard. You hate going into timeout as one would expect but you're getting better at managing your little temper so you don't have to go there as much. And you totally make Mommy laugh when you tell her that she's "pushing your buttons" because she probably is!
You are such an amazing big brother, Princess just adores you and you her. We just love to see the two of you play together. And even though you also get in trouble together we know that the two of you will be best friends for life!!
We can't wait to see what the next year brings. You are such a wonderful boy and we are so lucky to be your parents.
Love,
Mommy and Daddy
