Weather: Indoor Racing
Thanks to what feels like weeks and weeks of rain we have had to amuse ourselves with indoor games a lot lately. And the flooding across the region proves just how much rain we've had. Fortunately the order Gram placed with Discovery Toys came and provided some much needed entertainment in the form of a super cool racetrack! Rain rain stay here so Mini can play with his race cars!

Sunday News: Quotable Quotes from Mini P
~I'm singing you a song
I'm singing you a song
I'm singing you a song
To make you feel better
(sung to me)
~ Anatomy Lesson from Dr. Mini
Mom...food goes in my mouth
then down the drain and then
peepee and poopies come out my bum...
Right?
~ Look I took off all my clothes by my big boy self but then I couldn't get my firefighter clothes on... and my sock is crooked. (After waking up from his nap in just his pull-ups and one sock wrong side out)

Local News: Mini Meets a Policeman
On a recent trip to get Princess' birth certificate we were lucky enough to park next to the police station and see tons of police cars. And then in the building were two real life policemen also filing some documents. Mini walked right up to one of them, tugged on his jacket, and asked to take a picture with him. The policeman was very obliging and here is the result!

Things to Do: First Playground of the Year
The rain has stopped and the weather got warmer and what does that mean...
It's playground season!!!!

Mini has definitely grown so much since the fall. Both he and Baby Doll could get up on the giant dinosaur by themselves. See them from last year here.

And he was going down the slides head first on his belly, be still my pounding heart.

He and Billy the Kid were riding the merri-go-round standing up, be still my still pounding heart.

(This is why I usually stay behind the camera!)
Princess and Moose enjoyed their first forward facing wrap adventures. It was pretty funny since Princess had her Red Sox beanie on and Moose had one of Princess' other beanies on which happened to be pink!

We finished off at Qdoba where the "big kids" all had quesadillas and apple sauce, yum!

And just look at this picture of Tank Engine, have you ever seen a more beautiful eye? He is going to be a heart breaker!!!

National News: Update on Grandpa P

On St. Patty's Day we went down to visit Grandma and Grandpa P to check and see how he was holding up. We couldn't visit him in the hospital due to a no kids rule so this was our first time seeing him since his surgery. Mini did pretty good remembering that Grandpa couldn't get down on the floor to play and was pretty quiet, for him anyway ;) Grandpa couldn't pick Princess up since she is about triple his 5lb limit but he could definitely get a little snuggle time in when he was sitting in the big rocker. Grandma generously provided us with traditional corned beef and cabbage for lunch finished off by jello with whipped cream. Mini ate the whipped cream off his and gave the rest to Grandma to finish, such a generous boy ;) We're so glad Grandpa is getting better and we'll see them both again soon!!

Local News: Piggies and Bank Accounts
In the mass of stuff of Daddy's when he was a little boy we found a piggie bank. Daddy gave it to Mini to start saving for school and Mini has been very good about keeping all of his "pennies" in there. But the piggie got full lately and we decided to take the opportunity to go to our local bank and open up bank accounts for both Mini and Princess. Mini was so well behaved while we were there that he got a red AND an orange lollipop.

There will be many fun field trips to the bank in the future to deposit money and get more lollipops!

National News: Next Generation of Drama Girls
When out in Arizona last week I was able to catch up with my high school friend, Sheree, for a girls' breakfast out. Her daughter and Princess are just a few days apart in age so it was fun to see their similarities and differences. It was great to see my old buddy from French class and Drama club among other activities!!! Je t'aime ma amie!!!

Special thank you to Facebook for making this reunion possible ;)

Front Page: Princess Cuts First Tooth
So the drool and fussiness started at our cousin Brad's first birthday party and I said to his mom, the lovely Hannah, I think she's cutting a tooth. When I told my mom she said she could be cutting it for months, that 3 months was too early. Well this little girl does not like to be told no and two days later the tooth is out. It's hard to get a good shot because she sticks her tongue out when I try to get her to open her mouth so the only time to get a picture is when she's crying, maybe that makes me a bad mom but I promise I only took one quick one before comforting her ;)

Please note that it was intentional to color coordinate the arrow to her outfit, she's a girl!!

Mini and Princess are thoroughly entertained by their parents. Mini is quickly learning all the moves and even has his own set of one pound weights! He especially likes to go down in the mornings and do the cardio workout with his Dad. He is also quite excellent at the Kenpo Kicks and loves to stand in Namaste when we do yoga! Check out these action shots!!!!
