Local News: Flip Flops Return to Potsyville

Mini finally finished his flip flop chart by helping mom with the laundry. To get a quarter he has to push the wet clothes that mom hands him into the dryer, put the pile of dirty clothes into the washing machine, and "choo choo" the clean clothes laundry basket into the living room!

When we went to the store he picked out Toy Story flip flops with Buzz and Woody on them. And so ends the flip flop drought in our house!!!

Local News: Yard Sale Success

Living in a condo is hard sometimes, especially when you need to have a yard sale. Luckily we have very good friends with houses that allow us to horn in on their yard sales... and play with their yard sale toys ;)

National News: Pop Pop's Beach House

Our good friends, the LilyPad Family, are lucky enough to have a beach house to use. And we are lucky enough that they share with us. This is especially great because they live so far away but the beach house is much closer. It had been far too long since we'd seen them last, we exchanged Christmas gifts if that gives you an idea. And we hadn't met their newest, Sunflower, and they hadn't met Princess.

We went down to visit and although Mini was so very sad that it was too cold for the beach we had a great time. We played in the yard, hit up the playground, and went out for a delicious seafood dinner. And once the kids went to bed the adults tested out some new games and had such a great time that we stayed up waaaayyy past our bedtimes. It was a super day with super friends!!! You can see their blog and more pics here!
