Front Page: We Miss Daddy

Dear Daddy,

We know that you have to travel for business so that Mommy can stay home and play with us all day. And we really appreciate all that you do for us and how much you love us. BUT we really really really miss you when you are gone and can't wait until you come home.

Love,
Mini and Princess

Things To Do: Birthday Parties

We are so lucky to have such good friends. They all came to Mini's Crazy Hat Birthday Party and now we get to go to theirs.

Syd turned 4 and had a Toy Story themed party because Jessie is her favorite!

Mini just loved to run around and jump in all the pools and play on Syd's new swingset!

Things To Do: Farmer's Market

The local farmer's market just started up for the summer and yummmmmmy!! We picked up some loaves of fresh bread including a tomato, pepper, and onion focaccia that was amazing. And since it was the "Strawberry Festival" we also got a super duper delicious carton of freshly picked organic strawberries. Oh how my mouth watered just thinking about them.

We had some for dessert. And we saved some to put on our oatmeal in the morning. Yum!

Even Princess had some! Too bad they'll be gone before Daddy gets home but maybe we can get some more next week.

Art: My Best Side

Princess is a very lucky girl to be getting so many gorgeous pictures of herself! Mini had to survive on Picture People pictures which were fine. But Princess gets Melissa Robotti pictures which are sooooo much better! Here are some of my behind the scenes shots....

Relationships: Such Cuties

Princess and Moose are so cute together that I can help but take pictures!!!
And they both have such kissable cheeks!!!!!

Things To Do: Summer Camp

Mini started summer camp today at his school. When we got there he hung up his backpack and took off, didn't even look back. And when I asked for a hug I got a quick one armed one, like you'd expect from a 12 yr old not a 3 yr old. He was so ready to do this all by himself.

When I got into the car I cried a little bit, he's really not a baby any more. I'll miss my baby but I am so glad that I have such an awesome big boy! He went from 9-1 and even had lunch there with all the other kids. And he had such a good time!!!!

Education: Teaching Princess about Trucks

Trucks top the list of things that Mini loves so he is lucky to have a sister that wants to be just like him. He taught her all about the construction trucks in the new toy he got for his birthday. And she just alternated between watching him intently and watching the trucks intently. Sibling love of trucks!!!

All little brothers and sisters want to do exactly what their bigger siblings are doing. And as you can see it starts very young!

Local News: Choo Choo On Down

A local company recently bought the old railroad company along with the land the tracks were on and they have been diligently clearing the old track and repairing it. At the bottom of the hill near our house the train runs through and we can hear it quite clearly but we have never actually caught it going by. However when driving home the other day we caught a glimpse of it as we were stopped at a light.... Mini was over the moon!!!

Things to Do: Cleanliness is Next To...

Mini Potsy! This big boy sink was just the right size for big boy Mini. He loved the thing and would have stayed in the BRU bathroom for hours just washing his hands if I had let him. Hilarious!
