Weather: It's Been a Long Winter

This winter has been long, snowy, cold, snowy, flu-ridden, snowy and may I say it again, snowy. Yup, something like 65+ inches in just over a month or some crazy number like that. People were having to shovel down their snowbanks just to get out of their driveways because the snowbanks were so high. The icicles on the side of our house were so big that they actually reached the snowbank. And Mini was thrilled because he instead of a rock collection outside he had an icicle piece collection! We even let him put a big piece in the freezer to save for summer, how fun will that be?!?!

So between colds and snow days from school we've spent a ton of time indoors. Craft days, movie days, lots of imaginary friends, and many many trips to Target and Stop and Shop just to get out of the house for a while. And somehow the time just slipped by and we went from Christmas, through New Years, past Valentine's Day, and now it's suddenly almost St. Patrick's Day.

And while it's still cold out the snow is finally slowly melting and you can almost taste spring. I hope you can forgive my absence, keeping up with two antsy kids along with two part-time jobs, school, and housework has left little time for reading my favorite blogs let alone writing anything. So in honor of a new season coming I am resolving myself to start back in with the blog!
